Fun Facts and More... What about when I am not teaching, what do I do? What are my interests or hobbies? What are a few of my favorite things? Besides teaching, I have fallen in love with photography. I am an amateur photographer and I take my Sony Alpha semi-pro camera with me everywhere. I am looking into amature photography courses. I enjoy many different genres of photography: portrait, sports, and nature. In addition to those pursuits, I will be completing the International Literacy Coaching Training Cohort program this year. I have two conferences I'll be participating in this year in Prague. I'm looking forward to enhancing my literacy teaching skills and building on my friendships from around the world during this course! So, you can look forward to being my guinea pigs while I try out new techniques! Besides photography and participating in this cohort, I enjoy, cycling, cooking, baking, reading historical fiction, writing about my life and observations, traveling to new places, learning new things like dance or art, listening to music, and hanging out with friends! I also enjoy spending time with my husband, Mr. Butrym and I try to make him happy. He is a total sport fanatic and I know he wants tickets to the European Cup this year. If any of you know how I can get tickets for his birthday--please share!!! I'll be forever greatful...and so will he! These are a few of my favorite things...
